Selection and Sales
Curated wallpaper selection from designer and specialty lines, chosen for your room, your light, and your architecture, not pulled from a bargain bin.
We sell it, we install it, and we remove the old. One studio for the pattern, the paper, and the finished wall, whether it is part of a larger project or a standalone job.
Wallpaper at Common Craft Studio is not handed off to whoever answers the phone. Debora is trained in wallcovering installation and hangs the paper herself: planning the layout, minding the repeats, matching the seams, and carrying the pattern through every corner. When your installer is also your designer, the paper lands exactly where the design intended.
A true full circle. We sell the wallpaper, we install the wallpaper, and we remove the old wallpaper before the new goes up. Selection, installation, and removal in one studio, under one standard, with one person accountable for the finished wall. No handoffs, no finger pointing, no stranger on your walls.

Measured, planned, and hung with matched seams and corners that carry the pattern through. Done right the first time.
Honest, patient removal of existing wallpaper that protects your walls and sets up a flawless next finish.
Wallpaper removal looks simple until it is not. Older paper, stubborn adhesive, painted over layers, and decades old installations behave nothing like modern strippable paper. Rushed removal is how drywall gets ruined, and how a removal job turns into a wall repair bill. We price the actual job, remove with patience, and leave your walls ready for whatever comes next.
Single layer wallpaper with typical adhesive and standard removal conditions.
Multiple layers, older or stubborn adhesive, painted over wallpaper, or other conditions requiring additional removal time.
Every project is classified as Standard or Complex, and we confirm the classification on site before work begins, never sight unseen. You will know which one your project is, and why, before we start.
We begin with a walkthrough and a test patch, because the only honest way to quote removal is to see how your paper actually releases. If concealed conditions appear mid removal, such as a hidden layer beneath the first, we stop and present a revised approach for your approval before continuing.
What removal reveals. Stripping wallpaper commonly uncovers the wall's history: prior repairs, old patches, surface conditions that were hidden for years. We tell you this before we start because it is true, not after because it became a problem. Wall repair, skim coating, priming, and paint are a separate scope we can coordinate for you.
Getting ready. Before we arrive, wall hangings, window treatments, and fragile items come down, and furniture moves at least three feet from the work area. We need access to water and electricity. That is the whole list.
