Spaces that tell a story,
layered over time.

Debora believes great interiors are more than beautifully designed spaces. They are personal stories unfolding through layered textures, meaningful details, collected pieces, and a sense of comfort that lingers long after the project is complete. Her approach is rooted in the idea of the modern heirloom, spaces thoughtfully curated to feel timeless, lived in, deeply personal, and rich with meaning.

Known for her resourcefulness, empathy, and thoughtful problem solving, Debora approaches every project with a commitment to service built for the long haul. She values relationships as much as results, guiding clients with honesty, attentiveness, and genuine care throughout the design journey. Her work reflects an appreciation for old school craftsmanship, hospitality, and personal connection, balanced with fresh perspective, innovation, and forward thinking.

Debora earned her Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from Brenau University and is an Associate AutoCAD User and Certified Color Consultant. Her background and experience allow her to seamlessly blend functionality with artistry, creating interiors layered with personality, woven textiles, warmth, intentional detail, and a quiet sense of refinement.

An adventurous creative at heart, Debora is passionate about designing spaces that leave clients feeling entirely renewed, inspired, grounded, and deeply grateful for the environments they live in every day. She believes the most memorable interiors are the ones that quietly tell a story, collected over time, rich with character, and reflective of the lives unfolding within them.

As Principal and Creative Director of Common Craft Studio, Debora leads an interior design firm and creative studio serving residential and commercial clients throughout metro Atlanta and the surrounding Georgia communities. Through interior design, curated furnishings, textiles, lighting, and art, Common Craft Studio creates environments that feel elevated, soulful, enduring, and distinctly personal.

“My design style would be described as classic, with just a bit of an edge.”

Designed, Curated,
and Installed.

At Common Craft Studio, our work extends beyond interior design alone. We shape environments through a considered process that carries from initial concept through final installation, ensuring every layer of the space feels cohesive and complete.

Alongside furnishings, materials, and spatial planning, artwork is incorporated as an architectural anchor rather than an afterthought. Through collected art, commissioned works, and precise placement, we develop visual layers that bring depth, character, and permanence to a space. By guiding both the creative direction and the physical realization of each project, we maintain continuity across proportion, texture, materiality, and visual rhythm. The result is a collected environment that feels refined, authentic, and enduring.

Interior Design Services
Full-service interior design covers the complete process from initial concept through final installation. This includes spatial planning and floor plan development, material and finish selection, furniture and furnishings curation, lighting design, artwork integration, procurement coordination, and white glove installation oversight. Every detail is considered as part of a cohesive whole.
Project timelines vary based on scope and complexity. A single room refresh may take four to eight weeks, while a whole-home or new construction project can span several months. During the discovery phase, we establish a realistic timeline specific to your project, accounting for procurement lead times, custom fabrication, and installation scheduling.
Project Strategy is a structured design direction service for clients who want professional creative guidance without committing to full service execution. We develop a spatial framework, material palette, furnishings direction, and artwork advisory so you have a clear, actionable roadmap. It is ideal for clients who prefer to manage their own procurement and trades while benefiting from expert design thinking and planning.
Yes. Common Craft Studio provides interior design services for both residential and commercial environments. Commercial projects may include boutique retail spaces, hospitality environments, short-term rental properties, and professional offices. The same attention to scale, material, and spatial composition applied in residential work is carried through every commercial project.
Our design philosophy is grounded in the concept of the modern heirloom. We create environments that feel timeless, deeply personal, and rich with meaning. Every project is guided by scale, materiality, and a belief that enduring spaces are not merely assembled but thoughtfully composed. We layer furnishings, textiles, lighting, and art to build environments that tell a story and feel lived in from the first day.
Art Curation and Advisory
We curate a broad range of original and limited-edition works including original paintings, fine art photography, giclée prints, murals, sculpture, textiles, and collected objects. All artwork is sourced through our network of independent artists, galleries, and artisan partners, with selections tailored to the specific architecture, scale, and material palette of your space.
The process begins with a discovery call to understand your aesthetic preferences, collection goals, and investment range. We then conduct a space and scale assessment using photographs and measurements of your placement areas. Within approximately three business days, we present curated concepts with proposed artwork, framing direction, and visual placement. Once selections are approved, we coordinate all sourcing, framing, shipping, and white glove installation.
Yes. We work with clients at every stage of collection development, from those acquiring their first significant piece to established collectors looking to refine, expand, or reframe their holdings. Our advisory approach considers both the individual merit of each work and how it relates to the broader composition of the space and collection as a whole.
Select projects may incorporate limited-run works and commissioned pieces developed in collaboration with artists and trusted fabrication partners. Commissioned artwork allows for a deeper integration of visual art with the specific dimensions, palette, and character of your environment, resulting in pieces that feel created for the space rather than simply placed within it.
White-glove installation includes careful coordination of all shipping logistics, on-site unpacking and inspection, professional hanging and placement by experienced installers, framing verification, and final styling to ensure each piece integrates beautifully with the surrounding environment. We oversee every step so the completed installation reflects the original creative intent with precision and care.

Client
Testimonials.

“Debora achieved the exact vision that I had when I was looking to have my place decorated for short and extended rentals. She provided durable, high-quality furniture, took the time to pick out wonderful artwork, and provided supplies to have my place ready for its first guest. Debora also created a guest book and took fantastic pictures making the entire experience a great one. Best of all I was able to achieve a lovely interior design within my budget which other designers were not concerned with. I highly recommend Common Craft Studio for any interior job you may need done!”

“Debora, the house is beautiful. Thank you so much. We love it. Shareef said she loves everything. And he is so hard to please. We are very grateful.”

Verified Client

“Working with Debora at Common Craft Studio was a pleasure. During my consultation, she was so energetic and professional that I got excited about working with her. My breakfast area needed an update. Cornice boards in my favorite color made the area more inviting and worked very well with colors in the adjacent kitchen. The breakfast area chairs were also upholstered, and Debora worked with me until she found the fabric pattern I wanted. She included custom cushions for the chairs too, which was a nice surprise. I love my bold and beautiful breakfast area. Highly recommended!”
