The Path
Every project follows
the same path.
A single room and a whole home start the same way and end the same way, with a finished space and nothing left for you to chase. Scope changes how many rooms are in the plan. It never changes the structure.

Discovery Call
A thoughtful conversation to understand your goals, your space, and how you want the environment to feel.

Site Assessment
We evaluate the architectural conditions, dimensions, lighting, and existing elements to inform the design direction.

Design and Presentation
We develop the complete design and present it room by room, with renderings, plans, and specifications.

Procurement
We oversee ordering, vendor coordination, receiving, and inspection so nothing arrives at your home unchecked.

Installation
We coordinate and direct the final installation, placing each element with care until the space is resolved.
Project Strategy
What you receive,
and own.
Every design project begins with Project Strategy, and it produces real, complete deliverables: a room by room design presentation, visual renderings for each designed space, scaled furniture placement plans, and a written specification for every recommended item.
These deliverables are yours to keep. Once your Project Strategy fee is paid in full, the renderings, plans, and specifications belong to you, whether or not you continue into procurement. If you choose to stop after your presentation, you walk away with a complete design plan you can act on at your own pace. Nothing is withheld.
Design time and revisions. Your Project Strategy includes the design presentation plus two rounds of revisions, so you have two full opportunities to redirect anything that does not feel right. If additional design time is ever needed beyond that, it is billed hourly and never without your written approval of an estimate first. You will always know before, not after.
The credit. If you continue with us into a furniture package or any further work, your full Project Strategy fee is credited toward it. No minimum purchase, no expiration window, no conditions. Every dollar you pay goes into your project.

Almost no design studio publishes this. We would rather you read it here than wonder about it later.
No commissions. Ever.
Common Craft Studio is compensated by design fees only. We receive no commissions, referral fees, or compensation of any kind from any vendor, manufacturer, or trade source in connection with your purchases.
One owner, two companies.
Furnishings and materials for your project may be purchased through Goods and Galleryhaus, a retail home furnishings company under common ownership with Common Craft Studio. We say that plainly because you deserve to know it. In practice it means one accountable owner stands behind both the design and the goods, so there is never a third party to chase.
Retail prices, in writing, first.
Goods and Galleryhaus sells at retail, the same way any home furnishings store does. Every item is quoted to you in writing at its full retail price before any order is placed, and the price you approve is the complete price. No markups, fees, or percentages are ever added on top.
Your specifications are yours.
Once your design fees are paid, you may purchase any specified item from a source of your choosing, item by item. Items purchased directly are ordered, received, and warranted through your chosen seller, and we can coordinate procurement of those items at our hourly rate if you would like the help. Nothing else about the relationship changes.

Products
Goods and Galleryhaus
Product purchases are invoiced by Goods and Galleryhaus LLC, a Georgia retailer responsible for procurement, payment processing, warranties, returns, damaged merchandise, and all vendor related issues for items purchased through it.
Installation
Licensed Installers
Installation is performed by licensed, insured third party installers. Common Craft Studio coordinates scheduling and supervises installation quality as part of your project.

You Approve, We Order
No item is ordered until you have approved its written specification and price. You approve everything in writing before it is purchased.

We Receive and Inspect
Your items are received, inspected, and stored as they arrive, so nothing sits on your porch and nothing damaged reaches your home unnoticed.

Damages Are Ours to Chase
If an item arrives damaged or defective, we file and manage the claim with the vendor and arrange repair or replacement. You never chase a shipment.
04
Substitutions Need Your Yes
If a specified item becomes unavailable, we present a substitute of equal or better quality at an equal or lower price for your written approval first.

Install Day, Directed
Delivery and installation are scheduled with you in advance, with the studio on site to direct placement, styling, and the punch list.
Issues during implementation? One phone call reaches the owner of both companies. There is no vendor finger pointing, because responsibility for every item purchased through us sits with us.
